Rev. Ronnie E. Parker (2024-present)

Rev. Ronnie E. Parker is a native of Bedford, Virginia. He is the oldest child born to Deacon Charles and Deaconess Bertha Parker, He was formally educated in the Bedford County Public School System. Rev. Parker completed his undergraduate studies in History & Religion at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. He was licensed and ordained by First Baptist Church Blacksburg, Virginia under the pastorate of Rev. P.L. Barrett. Rev. Parker holds a Master’s Degree in Devinity from Richmond Virginia Seminary, and an Honorary Doctorate Degree from Eastern Theological Seminary.

Rev. Parker currently serves as the Assistant Director of Eastern Theological Seminary – Roanoke Campus and is part of the faculty. Rev. Parker believes in teaching and preaching the word of God. He is passionate about sharing his love for God and preparing ministers for the work of the ministry.

Prior to being called to First Baptist Church – Gainsboro, Rev. Parker faithfully served as pastor of First Baptist Church Blacksburg for 12 years.

Rev. Parker is happily married to C. Monique Parker, and they are blessed with one son, Christian.
