Hospitality Ministry

The Hospitality Ministry is available for all aspects of hospitality for First Baptist Church. The main function of this Ministry is to be in charge of the Sunday morning announcements. This duty also involves greeting visitors in the vestibule on Sunday morning and helping them sign the visitor registration cards.

The Hospitality Ministry is available to serve as host/hostess for the various receptions held throughout the year. The Ministry may completely arrange a reception upon request. Any organization or other Church entity may request that the Hospitality Ministry assist with any function.

Procedure for becoming a member:

Any born-again believer with a loving, caring and sharing attitude should contact the Chairperson or Co-Chairperson.

Usher Ministry (Senior and Junior)

The Usher Ministry assists the Church and Pastor with religious duties and promotes religious/social relationships among members and visitors. The Ushers perform duties before, during and after service.

The Ushers assist in the areas of seating, offering and various other areas when needed.

Procedure for becoming a member:

Church members with a desire to serve are welcomed and may join by contacting any Usher or attending any meeting.

Music Ministry

Reaching lost souls, reaffirming Christians and encouraging one another spiritually, the Music Ministry gives honor to God and praises His name above all else through songs of worship, praise and honor such as anthems, spirituals and hymns.

Procedure for becoming a member:

New members are always welcome and any one committed to serving God through songs of confession, dedication and praise may join by coming to rehearsal.
